- Saturday, arrive in Berlin,

You will be met and transferred to your hotel. There’s time torelax before meeting your fellow travelers and Tour Director for a
Welcome Dinner. (D)


- Sunday, in Berlin,

Your morning sightseeing tour features views of the impressiveReichstag and lovely Schloss Charlottenburg. Continue throughthe city to see famous sights such as the Opera, Schiller Theater,and Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. The afternoon is free toexplore this once-divided city on your own. (B)


- Monday, to Prague,

After breakfast, we take you to Dresden, the beautiful SaxonyBaroque city. Stop for an orientation tour, viewing Zwinger Palaceand Semper Opera House. Then, on to Prague, the capital ofCzech Republic. (B, D)


- Tuesday, in Prague

After breakfast. we cross the Vltava River to see the RoyalCastle of Hradcany and visit the Cathedral of St. Vitus, the OldRoyal Palace, St. George's Basilica, and the Golden Lane withthe Daliborka Tower. On to view the Old Town Square, thefamous Astronomical Clock, the Jewish Quarter, St. NicholasChurch, the Charles Bridge, and more. The balance of the day isat leisure. (B)


- Wednesday, to Vienna

We travel by motorcoach to Vienna, the “City of Waltz.” There isfree time to start discovering the city’s delights, from shopping toarchitecture to pastries Dinner, and overnight. (B, D)


- Thursday, in Vienna,

We start the day with a visit to St. Stephen's Cathedral and theHomburgs Palace; then on to view Belvedere Palace, PraterAmusem*nt Park, and the UN Buildings. Afternoon free. In theevening enjoy the classical Concert of Strauss’s & Mozart’s

- Friday, to Budapest

Today, we depart for Budapest. The sightseeing tour upon arrivalincludes views of all the main attractions: The Parliament, theRoyal Palace, the Castle Hill area, Fisherman's Bastion, theMatthias Church, Heroes' Square, and Gellert Hill with its Citadel.The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this exciting city. (B)


- Saturday, in Budapest

The entire day is free to explore the “Paris of the East”, shopalong the Vaci Utca, nibble a delicious slice of apple strudel, sipsome Hungarian wine, or perhaps join the optional excursion.Dinner, overnight. (B, D)


- Sunday, to Krakow,

The road to Krakow winds through the hills and countryside ofSlovakia, past the Tatras Mountains, and into the rolling plains ofPoland. You’ll arrive in time for a relaxing dinner. (B, D)


- Monday, in Krakow

A morning sightseeing tour starts with a visit to Wawel Hill, aviewing of the Royal Castle, and visiting the Royal Cathedral.Next, take a walking tour of the Old Town where you will see theMain Market Square and Renaissance Cloth Hall, and visit St.Mary's Church. The afternoon is free to go for a stroll, browsethrough the shops, sample some “sernik” or “szarlotka”, or simplyrelax. (B)


- Tuesday, to Warsaw

This morning join us on a tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the notoriousconcentration camp from World War II and a UNESCO WorldHeritage site. Later, journey to Czestochowa and visit the YasnaGora Monastery, known for the blackened picture of the VirginMary, popularly called the "Black Madonna" In the late afternoon,arrive in Poland's capital city, Warsaw. (B, D)


- Wednesday, in Warsaw,

This 700-year-old capital is a symbol of Polish nationhood and thewill to survive against great odds. Your sightseeing tour here
includes a drive along the famous Royal Route from magnificentCastle Square to Lazienki Park and Palace, the summerresidence of the last king of Poland. Pass by the Palace ofScience and Culture (known as the “wedding cake”), the SaxonGardens, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Monument to the Heroesof the Warsaw Ghetto, and Barbican. Continue with a walking tourof the Old Town, Old Market Square, and St. John’s Cathedral.The rest of the day is free for shopping, a stroll through the city,relaxing in one of the many parks or gardens, or perhapsattending an optional late afternoon Chopin concert.
