Playboy is seeking a highly motivated People Operations Coordinator who is eager to learn and grow. This position is responsible for performing a broad range of HR and administrative duties in support of the People Ops team and for providing administrative support in the full employee lifecycle. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations within the department and the company as a whole.

This role is a non-exempt, hourly position and reports to the Director, People Operations. We are in the office at Playboy HQ in Westwood, Tuesdays-Thursdays, with rotating Mondays in-office, and an option to work from home on Fridays.

What You’ll Do - Job ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities and essential functions for this role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Become a primary user for ADP our HRIS, including onboarding and off-boarding, employee check-ins, exit interviews , workflow forms, regular and ad hoc reporting, and other data validation or reporting exercises.
  • Serve as the administrative expert in the full employee lifecycle:

○ Onboarding: Ensure new hire process is complete in a timely manner: offer letters, paperwork, background checks, onboarding, ADP data entry, I9s.

○ Assign and track trainings

○ Employee Changes, update personnel files, promotions

○ Offboarding: Process separations and send appropriate separation paperwork ○ Payroll: timeclock set-ups, ADP data entry

○ Reporting: assist in annual EEOC & pay data reporting

Ensure accuracy and compliance of employee data.

  • Learn our HR policies and practices. Be able to answer and/or refer to employee questions about Payroll, Benefits, Work/Life, Employee Perks, PTO, Company Policies, etc.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion with regard to all matters, data, and documents due to the high level of access to confidential and business information.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist in coordinating recruitment efforts such as posting jobs. openings, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication when needed.
  • Keep up-to-date with local, state, and federal labor laws.
  • Benefits Administration and ACA tracking.
  • Responsible for timely processing of invoicing.
  • Help oversee and track Leave Administration.
  • Manage People Calendar with time off requests, sick days, leave requests, etc.
  • Primary responder for HR mailbox and phone line.
  • Complete verification of employment requests.
  • Handle administration of Covid-19 cases.
  • Assist with HR projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring - Qualifications And Skills

  • 1-3 years experience in Human Resources. College education is preferred.
  • Strong desire to learn, participate and grow in the field of HR.
  • Understanding of US Labor Law.
  • Familiar with HRIS navigation, preferably ADP.
  • You are process driven, understand work flows, and the importance of attention to detail.
  • You are personable, a team player, nimble, able to multi-task and grace under pressure.
  • You are detail oriented and organized, Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills a must.
  • Ability to maintain discretion, professionalism, and composure at all times.
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have experience using Google Suite, Outlook, Excel, Word, AdobeSign, etc.
  • Agile, ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $28-$32 per hour, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
