Mrs. David Myers Area Deaths Mrs. David Myers, 54, of Route 1, Kingsport (Idle Hour Road), died at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday in Holston Valley Community Hospital after a lingering illness. She was born in West Virginia, but spent most of her life in Sullivan County.

She was a member of the Vermont Methodist Church, where she was a member of the W.S.C.S, Survivors include her husband, David Myers; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Miller and Mrs. Dianna Sexton, both of Kingsport; her father, J. E. Brooks of Roanoke, three sisters, Mrs.

Blaine Bishop of Kingsport, Mrs. Alice Sturgill of Norton, and Mrs. Clarence Bobo of Columbus, Ohio; four brothers, Walter Brooks of Kingsport and Lloyd Brooks, Raymond Brooks, and Paul Brooks, all of Akron, Ohio; a and four grandchildren, Funeral services will beheld at 2 p.m. today in the Vermont Methodist Church, with Rev. John Manney and Rev.

Ogleva Street officiating, Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery. James L. Trivette James L. Trivette, 39, of Rt. 1, Bristol, Tennessee, died early Thursday at his home following a long illness.

Mr. Trivette was a native and life-long resident of Bristol. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bluff City, a veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the Patton-Crosswhite VFW Post 6975. Marie Peltier, Mrs. Joan Jones, Mrs. Doris Jones and Miss Peggy Trivette, all of Bristol, and Miss Laura May Trivette, of Lynchburg, five brothers, Wayne Trivette, Harold Trivette, and Alfred Trivette all of Bristol; Bill Trivette of Baltimore, Md. and Richard Trivette of Fort -Knox, Ky. Harry O.

McDonald Harry Owens McDonald, 44, 6 of 1910 Bluff City Highway, died early Thursday at BristolMemorial Hospital. A native of Lexington, C. Mr. McDonald had made his: home in Bristol for the past (10 the years. He was employed by Virginia Employment Commission of Bristol.

He was a member of the Edgemont Presbyterian Church and a member of the board of deacons. He was a veteran of World War 11 and a member of Patton-Crosswhite VFW Post 6975. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Glenna Myers McDonald of the home; his mother, Mrs. Kate McDonald of Roanoke, one brother, Wilbur McDonald of Radford, and one sister, Mrs.

Helen Wright of Atlanta, Ga, F. Marion Lambert F. Marion Lambert, 85, of Route 2, Blountville, died at 12:15 a.m. last Thursday at the Holston Valley Community Hospital in Kingsport after a long illness. A native of Tazewell County, Mr.

Lambert had made this home in Sullivan County for the past 10 years, He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Baptist Church, Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillie Belle Lambert of the home; five daughters, Mrs. C. M. Jones of Blountville, Mrs.

Edith Fuller and Mrs. Paul Cartwright, both of Kingsport, Mrs. Dudley Crabtree of Honaker, Va. and Mrs. Harmon of Tazewell, one son, (H.

D. Lambert of Horsepen, three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Robinson of Knoxville, Mrs. Ella. Hopkins of Princeton, an and Mrs.

Carrie Harrison of Detroit, Mich. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pearl Snyder Mrs. Pearl Musick Snyder, 62, of 2105 Anderson Bristol, Tennessee, died at 11 Wednesday in Bristol Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Jessee Edgar Snyder; four daughters, Mrs. Alette Sykes, Mrs. Evelyn Stine, and Mrs. Anna Lee Cook, all of Bristol, and Mrs.

Teatta Hopkins, Sarasota, her mother, Mrs. Nannie Johnson, Bristol; two sisters, Mrs. Celia Jones, Bristol, and Mrs. Hazel West, Keen Mountain, and. six grandchildren.

Woodbury Melcher Woodbury R. Melcher, 77, of 2200 Sherwood Road, Kingsport, died at his home at 3 p.m. Friday following a lengthy Illness. He was a former resident of Asheville, N. C.

but had lived in Kingsport for the last three years, He was a member of the Holston Valley Unitarian Church, and was a charter member of the Asheville tarian Church. He was retired from Reusings', in Asheville. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruth B. Melcher; one son, W.

J. Melcher of Libby, three daughters, Miss Mary Melcher of Kingsport, Mrs. N. Austin of Montrose, and Mrs. C.

W. Cromwell, Jr. of Asheville; two sisters, Mrs. Alice MacMillan of Omaha, and Mrs. Emily Graves of Carmel, and 11 grandchildren.

Mrs. Lillian Shipley Mrs. Lillian Marie Shipley, 53, of 3916 Memorial Kingsport, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday in Holston Valley Community Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Wise County, but had been a resident of Kingsport for 30 years.

She was a member of the Golda Memorial Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Miss Sue Shipley and Mrs. Ace Crawford, both of Kingsport; one brother, E. R. Price -of Greenfield, two sisters, Mrs.

Paul Cross and Edith Price, both of Kingsport; and three grandsons. Mrs. Laura Ward Mrs. Laura Ward, 87, of Piney Flats, mother of Sullivan County deputy sheriff Lester Ward, died at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at her home here.

Mrs. Ward had been a resident of Piney Flats for 40 years. Surviving are two other sons, Homer Ward, Piney Flats, and Binam Ward, Knoxville, Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. at Jonesboro, is in charge. Dr.

R. F. Conklin Dr. Frederick Conklin, 64, retired vice president and works manager of the Tennessee Eastman died Sunday while attending worship services at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

Conklin died of an apparent heart attack, He joined Tennessee Eastman in 1931 as a research chemist and was named general intendent of the Holston Ordnance Works and Tennessee Eastman Corp, In 1942. Conklin retired in July, 1966 because of illhealth, Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Helen Louise Conklin, a son, Frederick James Conklin, and three daughters, Mrs. James Farmun, Mrs. David Royston and Martha Helen Conklin, all of Kingsport.

Anthony Randich Anthony (Tony) Randich, 79, of 504 Clinchfield Street, Kingsport, Tennessee, died Monday afternoon in Cedar Lawn Convalescent Home in Abingdon following an extended illness. He had been a patient in Wilcox Hall. and Holston Valley Community Hospital for the past three and a half years! before moving to Abingdon three weeks ago. He was born in Yugoslavia, but came to the United States when he was 14, He lived in Chicago and West Virginia before coming to Kingsport. In his earlier years he followed the construction business, and did excavation work on the original Holston Valley Community Hospital, He was a labor foreman at the Blue Ridge Glass Company on retirement, having worked there for over 25 years.

He attended the Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Dessie Randich; two sons, Marvin Randich of Cincinnati, Ohio, and 1 Donald Randich of Kingsport; one daughter, Mrs. Dexter of Kingsport; one step-son, Kermit Whetsel of Kingsport; one step-daughter, Mrs. Helen Salyer of Bristol; and several grandchildren, Rock Springs 4-H News Reporter, Carol Huggins The Rock Springs 4-H Club met October 5, 1967.
