Your winning bid placed on this on-line auction represents an irrevocable contract and you are responsible for paying all amounts due to Caronna Estate Sales, LLC.If you cannot pay for the items or agree to our terms and fees, Please Do Not Bid.
Registration:
Bidders must pre-register with valid credit card payment information stored in your profile.By providing your credit card information to Caronna Estate Sales, LLC you irrevocably authorize us to charge your credit card for the listing total purchase price of any winning bids with the buyer's premium associated with the sale, including applicable state taxes.You also agree that you will maintain valid credit card information within your bidding account.In order to better serve our customers, all bidders must provide their name, address, daytime phone number(s) and email address at which they can be contacted.This is to ensure good communication between Caronna Estate Sales, LLC and the bidder throughout any transactions. By accepting our terms, you agree to receive email notifications from us for future on-line auctions.Customers who do not want to be notified may unsubscribe located at the bottom of the email notification.
Sales Tax:
All sales are subject to Maryland Sales and Use Tax. Tax Exempt buyers must provide the appropriate state sales tax exemption certificate prior to the end of the auction.Upon acceptance and validation, your purchase will not be taxed.
Pick Up:
COVID-19Update:
Dueto the issues of this COVID-19 Virus, Please be respectful and practice social distancing, and wear protective masks. Please check each sale for specific pick up dates and times. If you are the winning bidder offurniture/large pieces,you MUST bringhelp. We will guide you to the piece for removal,our staff is not equipped to move furniture. Be sure to bring the necessary equipment ( dollies, straps, rope, blankets) to do so.
You must pick up your items at the day and time listed for each sale.NO EXCEPTIONS.Most of our sales are under a strict timeline to have items removed promptly. Please bring your invoice with you to help us speed up the process in locating your items.
Buyers hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Auctioneers and Sellers from any and all damages, claims, or liabilities from, and injuries to persons or death or property caused during the removal of items purchased.The buyer is solely responsible for any damage to the real property caused by or during the removal of items purchased. you must bring help to lift, pack, and remove items from the sale.Including tools to disconnect or dismantle.Please remember to bring packing supplies, boxes, dollies etc. Needed for removal.Our staff will not be able to assist in the removal process.
Shipping:
Caronna Estate Sales, LLC will offer third party shipping services on items listed as "shipping available". The process after the endof our auctions,1.) We charge thecredit card on file for winning lots ONLY! 2.) We transport your winningitems to Postal Suites Plus located in Easton, MD. within two days of auction end, where Postal Suites Plus will contact you with your shipping fees. Please be sure your Contact Information isup to date. Postal Suites Plus will only Ship to the address listed on your invoice. They will onlycontact you twice with the shipping fees. If no response, they will consider your items abandoned and will be retuned to Caronna Estate Sales, LLC. This process does take sometime once the sale is over, please be patient andcontact our office immediately with any question. Communication is Key throughout this entire process. Most items are shipped UPSP Priority Mail., FEDEX, UPS
If you cannot make it to the scheduled pickup - there will be a $25.00 delivery fee to take back to our warehouse.
Failure to Pick Up:
In the event you do not pick up your purchase during the designated time.You agree that failure to receive any item in the event of abandonment DOES NOT relieve your responsibility to pay for the item or any other associated fees. You hereby authorize Caronna Estate Sales, LLC to charge your credit card for the purchase amount plus any taxes or fees and will not refund payment for the items.Caronna Estate Sales, LLC may in its absolute and sole discretion, resell, dispose of or donate the items to a charity of Caronna Estate Sales, LLC choice. Any purchases returned to office for pickup will be charged a $25 non pick up / service fee.
Payment:
We accept Visa/Mastercard/American Express/Discover, ( 3% Processing Fee)Cash, Approved Check, Cashier's Check.At the end of the on-line auction, you will receive an invoice immediately following the sale. You will have two days to pay for your items. We collect payment at the listed Pick up Location. If no contact has been made within this period, we will charge the credit card on file. There is a $35.00 Returned Check Fee and your Credit Card on File will be Charged accordingly.
Bidding:
All Bids must be place by the established increments listed for the sale and represent irrevocable offers to purchase that may not be withdrawn prior to close of auction .Items begin to close at the time scheduled.Online sales are subject to a "soft close", if an item receives a bid within the last minute scheduled to end, it will stay open until all bids are received.
Preview:
All items may be previewed at the date /time listed for each auction.We encourage you to inspect all property in person and make your own determinations of condition, authenticity and other aspects of the property are of concern and important prior to bidding.Caronna Estate Sales, LLC has put forth every effort in preparing the catalog for this auction, to provide the accurate descriptions of all items.to accurately represent items for sale.Our description is still only an opinion.Items believed to be in good condition unless otherwise stated above.The absence of a condition description does not imply the lot / item is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging.It is the bidders' responsibility to determine exact condition of your item.Caronna Estate Sales, LLC makes no representations or warranties with respect to the authenticity or condition of any property and bidders agree to bid at their own risk and purchase the property as is.Caronna Estate Sales, LLC shall be the final judge in all bidding disputes and shall name a bidder as the purchaser. You bear all risk of loss on all items sold through final delivery. You, for yourself,expressly hereby forever release and dischargeCaronna Estate Sales, LLC, its members, licensees, employees, agents, successors and assigns(collectivelythe “Released Partiesâ€) against fromany and allclaims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, or causes of action, and from all acts of active or passive negligence on the part ofthe Released Parties whatso ever, direct or indirect, known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, which the bidder now has or which may arise in the future on the account of or in any way growing out of or connected with any defects, latent or otherwise, or the physical condition of any of any items or lots purchased or any law or regulation applicable thereto.Further,you,for yourself, your executors, heirs, successors and assigns,expressly agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmlessthe Released Partiesfrom all claims, demands, injuries, damages, actions, or causes of action, brought by on or behalf ofany personand arising from or related in any way to any and all acts of active or passive negligence on the part ofthe Released Parties.
