“It's time for the CISOs to step out of shadows!”Join Amrop at CISODAY 2024 on May 28th!Times have changed, and with it, the world of cybersecurity has evolved to include highly specialized roles and solutions. The security of infrastructure, systems, and data should be every organization’s top priority. The CISO community in the Nederlands aims to give cybersecurity leaders the recognition that they deserve - the CISO should step out of the shadows, which is why we’re excited to be part of the first CISODAY 2024!It will take place on the 28th of May in Green Village Nieuwegein, the Netherlands and Job Voorhoeve, the Leader of Amrop’s Global Digital Practice and Partner at Amrop the Netherlands will participate as a jury member in the “CISO of the Year” election.“It is a great honor to be invited to be a jury member,” says Voorhoeve. “Besides, as Amrop, together with all the other key members of the CISO community, we have been instrumental in helping to form a list for the nominations who we reached out to for self-nominations.”Voorhoeve also used their Digital Competency Model to assess the CISOs on their capabilities, and Amrop’s Leadership Advisory Partner, Frieda Barendse did a “deep dive” in assessing the candidates on their leadership capabilities too. “We’ve been fully involved in supporting this process,” continues Voorhoeve. “We wanted to make sure that top CISOs were nominated – it’s really important for us to add value to the CISOs’ leadership capabilities and the growth of this function for both public and private organizations.”“It’s been really rewarding to have a chance to share our in-depth knowledge around CISOs’ leadership competencies. As Amrop’s Digital Practice we’ve also studied the relationship between CISOs and CIOs, gaining key insights and also having the chance to compare the European and the US CISO communities – and we’re very happy to share all these insights with the wider CISO community.
