A momentous milestone! On Saturday, we sent our 50th humanitarian aid convoy to Ukraine. This special anniversary shipment included 3 off-road vehicles and 5 ambulances filled with essential aid items:- Medications - Bandages - Medical supplies- Laptops- Food supplies for hospices- Equipment for hospitals- Oxygen generators- Floor cleaning machines- Bone drillsWe couldn't have imagined reaching this milestone when we began this mission. We're immensely grateful to all our partners NGO Zgraya UA, VATAHA Foundation, International Aid Legion, and many other, precious volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who made this 50th convoy possible. Your compassion during these difficult times allows us to continue assisting heroes on the ground in Ukraine.From our humble beginnings to now - this anniversary convoy symbolizes the power of solidarity. This night, Russia launched over 60 "Shahed" drones and nearly 90 missiles of various types at Ukraine. The world sees the Russian terrorists' targets as clearly as possible: power plants and energy supply lines, Dnipro Hydroelectric Dam -the largest hydroelectric station in Ukraine, ordinary residential buildings, and even a trolleybus.As a result of the strike, problems with electricity have been recorded in several regions of the country. Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk region, Donetsk region, Kropyvnytskyi, Odesa. This was the most significant attack on energy infrastructure in these two years.Kharkiv has been left almost entirely without electricity as aggressors have carried out over 15 strikes on energy infrastructure objects. Additionally, there are issues with water supply.To ensure the safety of people in the current conditions, we are still collecting funds for the "Powerup" campaign, which aims to provide portable energy stations for dialysis patients. Today, russia attacked a residential area in Odesa, killing at least 14 people and injuring 46.At approximately 11 a.m., the initial assault by russian forces struck a residential area. Tragically, when emergency responders arrived to aid the victims, russia launched a second attack on the same location. This merciless action resulted in injuries to State Emergency Service workers and claimed the life of one rescuer. The onslaught also inflicted damage upon private residences, a service station, gas pipelines, and vehicles.While russia continues to shell cities, there is always a need to assist in the form of medicine, medication, and other useful items. Yesterday at our Tour de Artefacts exhibition, something extraordinary and deeply touching happened. A visitor laid a bouquet next to one of the exhibits — a children's toy symbolizing the tragic terrorist attack on April 9th. As a result of a missile strike on the Railway station square in Kramatorsk, 59 people lost their lives.This woman lost a close person at that station on the very same day. This is not the only display of emotion we have witnessed these days. And they all break our hearts.But this also highlights the profound significance of our exhibition. It helps to honor the memory of the victims, tells their stories, and makes us realize the importance of remembering the losses of war.Thank you to everyone who contributes to our mission, and supports us. This week, we're launching a series of posts in support of the Tour de Artefacts exhibition. Each day, we'll introduce you to one of the unique exhibits/stories of courage and tragedy during wartime. Join us to learn more about these valuable artifacts.Children: The Fatal InscriptionIn the early days of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, while Mariupol was heavily bombed, people came to the Mariupol Drama Theatre seeking shelter. On both sides of the theatre, there was a large inscription reading "CHILDREN" in Russian so that enemy pilots could see that the building was not a threat but a shelter for civilians. On March 16, a Russian pilot dropped a powerful bomb ring onto the "CHILDREN" inscription, making it a deliberate target. The Mariupol Theatre was bombed to ruins.
